Anna Toberman is an American portrait and figurative artist working in the Chicago area. She works in oils, charcoal and pastel mediums to achieve a creative vision that expresses accurate representation and a keen interest in the human condition and spiritual development, both in commissioned work and personal projects.
Anna is a signature artist of the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society and a member of American Artists Professional League (Elected Member)

This piece in our collection has been awarded numerous honors including the Macowin Tuttle Memorial Award for Painting (Best Painting) at the 2026 Spring Auctions of the Salmagundi Club, March 2026, Honorable Mention award at the 2025 Art of the Heartland National Competition at the Mena Art Gallery, Mena Arkansas, Award of Excellence and was exhibited in the Elmhurst Artists' Guild Winter Member Show 10/28/24 and Third Place Award at the 2024 NOAPS Best of America Small Works International Exhibition, hosted by The Sugarman Peterson Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from July 5-31, 2024.
