Xue Jian Xin
Xue Jian Xin was Born in NanJing, China on October 17, 1954. Xue had years of fine arts training at the highest level. He became Chairman of the SuZhou Oil Painting Research Association and Lecturer in the Fine Arts Department of SuZhou College. In 1988, he came to the United States as a student at Bard College, New York, where he received his M.F.A. in 1991. He began displaying his art at a famed SoHo New York Gallery in 1996 where he was an immediate success. His study of natural light in outdoor settings grew out of great admiration for the works of Monet, Renoir and Sisley. Xue demonstrates a passion for following the changes in natural light throughout the day. All parts of his paintings are harmonized despite polarities in brightness and color. His pieces are becoming rare to come by and it seems that Xue Jian Xin no longer creates these masterpieces. The pieces in our collection are examples of some of the finest pieces this artist created during the course of his very successful career
