Texoon, a native New Yorker, was a student of the great American master Gifford Beal. Her artistic style reflects the influence of Beal. During her career Jasmine exhibited throughout the United States, painting the scenes along her travels. She spent a considerable amount of time traveling throughout Italy painting landscapes and streets scenes. She has an extensive listing in Wh'o Who in American Art second edition and is also listed in Davenport's.
