Bill Jobson was born in the Bronx, and loved drawing and creating from an early age. He studied advertising design at F.I.T. After a two year Associate Degree program went right to work as Art Director for a small publishing company, then went on to other graphic design/art direction positions before becoming Senior Art Director for an ad agency in Greenwich Connecticut. Currently Mr. Jobson is the first vice president at the Salmagundi Art Club and often exhibits at the club. Many of his works seem to harken an emotional experience that is reminiscent of the works of Edward Hopper. His pieces have received accolades and numerous awards. They are often some of the earliest pieces of exhibitions to be purchased at the Salmagundi Club by collectors.
