George Bodine paints landscapes, cityscapes, and people. He works both plein air and in-studio, painting exclusively in oils and travelling extensively in Europe. Using techniques dated from the 16th century, George also hand-stretches Belgian linen, sizes with rabbitskin glue and primes with white lead. His pursuits in art have never been under formal education, with preference for learning careful proven techniques to ensure timeless pieces. George's work is owned by a variety of collectors such as a U.S Senator, a U.S. Embassy, and others spanning across US and Europe. He has been represented in the MEAM museum in Barcelona, Spain and at the Salmagundi Club in NYC.
