This British artist started his career as a master engraver, becoming one of England's most famous engravers. Topham was a member of the Royal Society of Painters and the father as well as teacher to F.W.W. Topham. He is a very well listed artist in all of the major publications with extensive auction records. This extremely important artist of 19th century is exhibited in numerous galleries throughout England.
